Doctoral position in Immunology (m/f).

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified candidate with strong interest and background in immunology, who has worked with mouse models before and (preferred not required) holds a FELASA certificate. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in isolation and purification of immune cells and their phenotypic characterization by flow cytometry. Requirements include a master degree (or equivalent) with excellent grades in biology, biochemistry or related sciences. Solid command of the English language is essential.

What we offer:

  • This is a fixed-term position for 3 years. Weekly working time is 65% of a part-time position (currently 25 hours per week). Salary will be, depending on qualifications, according to the German salary scale 13 TV-L. The preferred starting date is January 1st 2019.

Open doctoral positions within the IRTG 1911 "Immunoregulation of Inflammation in Allergy and Infection"

The IRTG is now seeking excellent candidates to staff up to

7 PhD positions (starting April 1, 2019; 3 years, PhD track; Dr. rer. nat.)

within the two project areas of the IRTG

Area A: Environmental changes as culprits of maladaptive immune deviation in allergy
Area B: Cellular cross-talk and molecular mechanisms controlling infections with intracellular pathogens
