I am a third year PhD student working in the CRU303 “Pemphigoid diseases – molecular pathways and their therapeutic potential” and the RTG1727 “Modulation of autoimmunity”. I am investigating the potential role of plasma cell-derived IL-10 in experimental Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita, an autoimmune blistering skin disease. Additionally, I am examining human B cell subpopulations in Bullous pemphigoid patients. Before joining the lab of Rudi Manz, I graduated from the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena in 2015 with a M.Sc. in biochemistry.
